Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between Fast and Frame-exact?
Fast is quick and lossless but starts the cut at the nearest keyframe, which can be up to a few seconds off. Frame-exact re-encodes to MP4 and is precise, but slower.
Which formats can I trim?
MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV and AVI, up to 200 MB.
Why can’t I preview my video?
Some formats, like iPhone HEVC videos in Chrome, can’t play in every browser. You can still type the start and end times and trim it.
