  2. Pick a level

Why use Utils365

  • Big savings on scans and photos

Images inside the PDF are resized and recompressed, which is where most of a PDF’s size usually is.

  • Never bigger than before

If a PDF is already as small as it gets, you get the original back instead of a larger file.

  • Deleted right after

Your file is processed on our server and deleted as soon as you download the result, or after one hour at most.

  • Text stays sharp

Text and vector graphics aren’t blurred, only images are made lighter.

Frequently asked questions

How much smaller will my PDF get?

It depends on the content. PDFs full of photos or scans often shrink by 70–95%; PDFs that are mostly text shrink less, because text is already compact.

Which compression level should I use?

Recommended suits most uses. Choose Strong for email attachments or web uploads with tight limits, and Light if you plan to print.

Can you compress password-protected PDFs?

No. Remove the password first, then compress the file.

Are my files kept on your server?

No. Each file is deleted as soon as you download the result, or after one hour at most if you don’t.

What’s the largest PDF I can compress?

Up to 100 MB per file.
