  3. Download the unlocked copy

Click Unlock and save a PDF that opens, prints and copies freely.

Why use Utils365

  • Private by design

Everything happens in your browser. Your PDFs and passwords are never uploaded to a server or stored anywhere.

  • Removes restrictions too

PDFs that open freely but block printing, copying or editing are unlocked without any password.

  • Nothing else changes

Only the encryption is removed. Pages, text, images and links stay exactly as they were.

Frequently asked questions

Can you unlock a PDF if I don’t know the password?

No. We can only remove a password you know. We don’t guess or crack passwords; if you’ve lost it, ask whoever sent you the file for an unprotected copy.

Why does my PDF unlock without a password?

Some PDFs open freely but restrict printing, copying or editing. Those restrictions don’t need a password to remove, so we simply save a copy without them.

Is my password safe?

Yes. The PDF is unlocked in your browser, so your password and file never leave your device.

It says my password is wrong. What can I do?

Passwords are case-sensitive, so check Caps Lock and try again. If the PDF has a separate permissions password, that one works too.

Can I unlock several PDFs at once?

Yes, as long as they share the same password. Files with different passwords need to be unlocked one at a time.
