Frequently asked questions
What quality setting should I use?
Around 75% is a good balance for most photos. Go lower for the smallest files, or 85% and above for the best quality.
Why didn’t my PNG get smaller?
PNG is lossless, so re-saving it as PNG rarely helps. Choose JPEG or WebP for much smaller files.
JPEG or WebP?
JPEG opens everywhere. WebP is usually 25–35% smaller and works in all modern browsers, which makes it ideal for websites.
Is there a size limit?
Each image can be up to 50 MB.
