Frequently asked questions
How is the border width measured?
As a percentage of the picture’s shorter side, so a batch of different-sized photos all get borders that look the same.
Is the picture shrunk to make room?
No. The border is added around the outside, so the image gets slightly bigger and nothing is covered.
How do I make an Instagram-style white frame?
Choose white and a width of 5–8%. To make it square as well, crop the photo to 1:1 first.
What format is the result?
The same as your image: JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG and WebP stays WebP.
