How to use GIF to JPG

  1. Add your GIF files

Drop one or more GIFs onto the page, or click to choose them.

  2. Set the quality

Use the slider to balance file size and detail. The default suits most photos; raise it for prints, lower it for the smallest JPG files.

  3. Convert and download

Click Convert, then save each image, or all of them at once as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to animated GIFs?

A JPG can’t move, so you get the first frame of the animation. To keep the motion, convert the GIF to MP4 instead.

Will the colours change?

No. GIFs have at most 256 colours, which JPG reproduces faithfully.

What about transparent areas?

They become white, because JPG doesn’t support transparency. Choose GIF to PNG to keep them.

Is it free?

Yes. It’s free with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many images you convert.
