Why use Utils365

  • Invoices and quotes

Switch between an invoice with a due date and a quote with a “valid until” date. Numbers go up by one each time.

  • Totals that add up

Amounts are worked out to the cent, so every line, the tax and the total match exactly what’s printed.

  • Any currency and language

Pick from over 40 currencies. Names and addresses in any script, such as Chinese or Arabic, show correctly in the PDF.

  • Private and free

Everything happens in your browser. Your details and your customers’ details are never uploaded, and there’s no sign-up or watermark.

Frequently asked questions

What should an invoice include?

Your business name and contact details, the customer’s name, a unique invoice number, the issue date and due date, a description of each item with its quantity and price, the total, any tax, and how to pay. Many countries also require your tax or VAT number. Where invoices must be issued through an official e-invoicing system, such as in Italy or Poland, use this PDF as a copy or a quote, not as the official invoice.

What’s the difference between an invoice and a quote?

A quote, or estimate, tells a customer what work will cost before they agree to it, and is valid until a set date. An invoice asks for payment for work already agreed or done, and has a due date.

How do I number my invoices?

Use a sequence that never repeats, such as INV-0001, INV-0002, or one that starts with the year, such as 2026-001. The generator remembers the last number you used in this browser and suggests the next one.

Should my prices include tax?

Choose “before tax” if you quote prices without tax and add it on top, which is usual for business customers and US sales tax. Choose “including tax” if your prices already include VAT or GST, and the invoice shows how much of the total is tax.

Can I add my logo?

Yes. Add a PNG or JPG and it appears at the top of the invoice. It’s scaled down to keep the PDF small and remembered with your business details.

Is this invoice generator really free?

Yes. There’s no account, no limit on invoices and no watermark. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing you type is sent to us.
